 The Concorde Museum is located in Juarez, Mexico, just across from El Paso, Texas, and its main contents are components and parts of the legendary supersonic aircraft, as well as prototyping and maintenance equipment.
The Museum’s collection includes more than 120 parts totaling more than 10 tons in weight.
Our mission is to maintain alive the memory of this magnificent airliner that defied supersonic speeds for more than 27 years carrying over 3 million passengers.
Also, we want to honor all the engineers and technicians who made Concorde happen.
Concorde was the only commercial airliner to carry more than 100 passengers at double the speed of sound. So far there is no other operarating plane to match Concorde’s feats.
During the tour at the museum premises you will discover the Concorde’s special performance and features explained by [retired] Mexican Air Force captain Daniel Núñez Treviño and a group of enthusiastic local students.
The museum’s main attraction is an imposing Rolls Royce/Snecma Olympus 593 engine, which took the Concorde to record-breaking speeds.
The Concorde Museum offers special tours for school children.
