Instituto Tecnologico de Ciudad Juarez, the city's first and foremost technology school, has just completed a new building at a campus where Juarez is launching its City of Knowledge project, a 300-hectare educational complex that will house eight state and national higher-education institutions.
Armando Hurtado Corral, the school's president, said in a report that students enrolling in the Computer Systems Engineering and Business Management Engineering programs, as well as in its new IT & Communications Engineering program will be able to attend classes at the new building south of the city beginning in August.
A laboratory annex to the two-story building is expected to be added soon, and a new mechatronics lab has been given green light, Hurtado said.
In the last two years, enrollment at ITCJ has increased to 5,800 from 4,700. |
