Foreign nationals living in Ciudad Juarez got together last Sunday as they have been doing each year in a good-vibe event to share cultural traditions, proudly exhibiting the best of their countries' music, dance, food and folklore.
More than 20,000 nationals from about 60 countries live in the State of Chihuahua, 70 percent of them in Juarez.
People originally from Lebanon, Russia, Brazil, France, Guatemala, Kenya, India, Venezuela, Czech Republic, Japan, United States, Syria, Egypt, Taiwan, Portugal, Costa Rica, China, Peru, Argentina, United Kingdom, Colombia, Hungary, Turkey, Nigeria and Cuba, among other countries, live and work in Chihuahua.
Many of them have naturalized or married Chihuahuans.
Similar events were held earlier this month in Chihuahua City and Nuevo Casas Grandes, a small city in Nortwestern Chihuahua.
This year's Festival de las Naciones in Juarez was held at Cibeles convention center.
