Researchers from nine countries will meet in Chihuahua City to discuss the causes and affects of social violence and its impact on individuals, in a four-day event where experts will be able to share information and experiences at panels, workshops and conferences.
As part of the 300th Anniversary of Chihuahua City festivities, the Psychological Care and Prevention Center (Cappsi) organized the 1rst International Psychotherapy Congress, Harmony for a Changing Society, which opened today at the city's Convention Center.
The congress will run September 6-9. Up to 2,500 psychology professionals are expected to attend the congress featuring 17 experts from Italy, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Canada, Australia, United States and Mexico.
