Companies interested in exploring or in investing in industry in the State of Chihuahua, do receive specialized attention from the Secretariat of Industrial Development SID personnel. The required activities to choose the location are: - Furnish economic, geographic and social information concerning the State of Chihuahua, required by the company when evaluating the project.
- Logistics support, including field trips to the prospected places.
- Setting up the agenda to visit chambers, associations, industrial parks, possible clients and/or suppliers.
- Spotting availability for industrial clusters and/or plant buildings, meeting prospect company’s specs required for their best settlement.
- Administrative assistance preparing paperwork and submitting federal, state and municipal permits to facilitate prospects settle accordingly; some of these instances are : the City Hall, Secretariat of Urban and Ecological Development, Water CompanyElectric Company, Secretariat of Economy, etc.
- Once the company has chosen the location for their project, the State Government prepares the fiscal and non fiscal incentives to support their settlement and operations as well.
- Once the investor accepts the proposal, the Legal Department from (SID) proceeds to elaborate the legal agreement granting the accorded incentives.
- Support for the development of local and/or national and international suppliers, as needed.
